CCTV cameras like this would cut crime in Bexley Village

Old Bexley & Sidcup Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate Duncan Borrowman is supporting a petition organised by traders in Bexley Village for CCTV in the High Street and Bourne Road.

Duncan Borrowman said: "As a daily user of the village I have listened to many traders complain about the constant break-ins and vandalism to their businesses. They have not surprisingly finally decided 'enough is enough' and have joined together to launch a petition for the village to be covered by CCTV, I fully support them in this. Small hard working businesses don't need to be spending every morning worrying if their premises is going to be broken into or vandalised, nor do they need to be paying rising insurance premiums in the present financial climate".
