Duncan Borrowman selected by Liberal Democrats to fight Old Bexley & Sidcup

Local campaigner Duncan Borrowman has been selected by Old Bexley & Sidcup Liberal Democrats to fight the seat at the next General Election.

Mr Borrowman lives in the constituency, and grew up there.

He is a well known national political campaigner, and was until recently the Liberal Democrats' National Campaigns Officer.

In 2000 and 2004 he was the Liberal Democrat candidate for Bexley & Bromley in the London Assembly elections, coming second in 2004 and pushing Labour into fourth place.

He is a former councillor in St Pauls Cray.
